Caregiver for Brain Injury Survivors

Job Summary

The Brain Injury Center of Ventura County is looking for dedicated, caring individuals with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and build relationships with brain injury survivors and their families.

The Caregiver/Personal Attendant position is available immediately. Caregivers are key to providing 24/7 residential care to brain injury survivors at BIC Brain Injury Home at Banner Ave, a 6-bed Adult Residential Facility (CDSS Lic# 567609739). Staff provide assistance with each residents' daily living activities, meals, housekeeping, structured activities and attend to residents' care plans.

BIC Brain Injury Home at Banner Ave is a 24-hour facility that utilizes double coverage on all shifts with additional staff available as needed. We offer competitive wages with a friendly/supportive work environment located in a large residential parcel in the City of Ventura. Meals are provided during each shift as well as ongoing training and supervision. We will reimburse for Live Scan, First Aid and TB clearance as needed.

Paid sick leave, PTO and special extra pay for all Holidays

  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
  • Pay Range: $16.00 - $18.00 /hr.
  • COVID-19 Considerations: We are covid-free and vaccinated and have strict protocols in place to prevent infection
