Ventura County Stand Down 2016


Ventura County Stand Down is a yearly event designed to assist homeless veterans regardless of where they live.

During the two-night, three day event, Ventura County Stand Down offers myriad services to veterans who are homeless. This event takes place annually at the end of July. Veterans may bring their immediate family members (wife, husband, children, or significant other) to the Stand Down event.

Services include, food, showers, clothing, hair cuts, comfort kits, medical assistance, employment assistance, social services, Superior Court (Friday only), dental services, eye exams, VA benefits, housing information, legal assistance and transportation.

For those veterans who are not homeless or for active duty military, Ventura County Stand Down welcomes them to attend on Friday and/or Saturday to access the many services available.
